Sundome Seinen Manga, She is Mine Shōjo Manga Ends

Manga creator Kazuto Okada (Kyōkasho ni Nai!/Very Private Lesson) has ended his explicitly graphic comedy manga Sundome in this year's 21st issue of Akita Shoten's Young Champion seinen magazine on Tuesday. The coming-of-age love story follows the sexual frustrations of the members of the Roman Club, which tries to preserve the virginity of its members through high school. The eighth and final volume will ship in Japan on November 20, while Yen Press will ship the sixth volume in North America next month. The story was adapted into a live-action film in 2007.
The November issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret shōjo magazine has also announced on Tuesday that Ao Mimori will end her She is Mine manga in the next issue on November 13. In the story, the cool blond-haired Haru and the tough black-haired Ryōtarō are polar opposites, but they somehow stay the best of friends. One day, a mysterious girl appears in their class. Mimori just launched She is Mine on April 13 after ending her B.O.D.Y manga last November. Viz Media will publish the seventh volume of B.O.D.Y. in North America next month.
