New York Anime Festival Reports 21,388 Total Attendees

Reed Exhibitions Industry Vice President Lance Fensterman reports that the attendance number for this past weekend's New York Anime Festival stands at 21,388. This tally includes regular attendees, professionals, press, guests, and speakers, but not exhibiting staff. 18,399 went to last year's New York Anime Festival, so attendance rose 16% this year. Fensterman invites people to offer ideas and opinions for this year's event and next year's, when the convention will have a "new home at New York Comic Con."
