Live-Action Blood: The Last Vampire in 6 More Theaters

Chris Nohan's live-action adaptation of Production I.G's Blood: The Last Vampire film opened on Friday in six more theaters in five states. Those six theaters are located in San Diego, Santa Monica, Chicago, Somerville, Dallas, and Arlington. South Korea's Jeon Ji-hyun (under her English name, Gianna Jun) plays the main character Saya, a sword-wielding girl hunting down supernatural creatures near an American military base in Japan. Japanese actress Koyuki plays her opponent Onigen. Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor, Urusei Yatsura) wrote the original anime film that Hiroyuki Kitakubo directed.
