Evangelion 1.0 to Screen at AFI Dallas 2009

The North American distributor Funimation has announced that Hideaki Anno's Evangelion:1.0 You Are (Not) Alone will screen at the AFI Dallas International Film Festival. Screening dates, times, and locations during the March 26 - April 2 festival will be announced in March. Passes go on sale February 6; tickets go on sale March 2.
Anno and his new Studio Khara are remaking his Neon Genesis Evangelion science-fiction television series into four new films, of which Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone is the first. The Anime Expo 2008 convention screened the Evangelion 1.0 film last July, and Funimation announced on New Year's Eve that it will release the film in North America this year.
