Amazon Japan Posts 2008's Top-10 DVDs, CDs, Toys

The Japanese unit of the online retailer Amazon has announced on Tuesday its top 10 lists for the 12 months between December 2007 and November 2008. The top DVD was King Record's Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, followed by Aniplex's limited complete pressing of Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners: Satsujin Kōsatsu Part I. On Blu-ray Disc, Bandai Visual's Macross Frontier volume 1 and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 volume 01 finished 1-2 over Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. 5 Centimeters Per Second was #4, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time was #5.
Three Macross Frontier CDs from Victor Entertainment made the top 25 list for all music releases: Macross Frontier O.S.T. 1 Nyan Fro. at #5, Macross Frontier O.S.T. 2 Nyan Tra. at #15, and "Lion" at #25. The special edition for the fourth volume of Mobile Suit Gundam UC was #9 among all Japanese books sold on the site.
