Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae's Special Promo Streamed (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
The official Japanese website for the Hell Girl anime franchise has begun streaming a special promotional video for the third Hell Girl series, Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae, on Wednesday. (The video requires Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer for playback.) This promotional video was first unveiled at a production presentation on September 11. The actual anime will premiere on October 4, and Miyuki Etoo's shōjo manga adaptation will launch on October 3 in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine. The franchise's main story revolves around a "Hell Girl" that anyone can summon, via a website, to condemn another human to Hell. However the price for the service is the summoner's own soul — condemned to Hell as well.
Funimation licensed and released the first 26-episode series in North America, but has not announced its plans beyond the first series. Del Rey Manga has been releasing Etoo's manga adaptation for the first anime series.
