Anime spinoff for Nintendo DS soccer RPG to premiere on October 5
The TV Tokyo broadcasting station has launched its website for the soccer RPG-based Inazuma Eleven anime with a streaming promotional video on Saturday. The game developer Level-5 (Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, Rogue Galaxy, Professor Layton and the Curious Village) created the original videogame for the Nintendo DS, and there is also a tie-in manga and card game. In the videogame, the players not only play soccer, but also assemble their teams from scratch from the students at a middle school. The anime focuses on seven students from Rainmon Middle School who form a soccer club and turn it into a competitive team.
