Votoms: Pailsen Files Movie's Teaser Trailer Posted

The official Japanese website for the Armored Troopers Votoms robot anime franchise has opened a page for the film version of the Armored Trooper Votoms: Pailsen Files story and has begun streaming a teaser trailer in small or large sizes. Ryousuke Takahashi and Sunrise's 12-episode Pailsen Files video series tells a prequel story to their classic 1983-1984 "real robot" anime, Armored Trooper Votoms. The film will open in Japan in early 2009.
Before Pailsen Files, the original Votoms anime series had already spawned six earlier video projects and even an American comic spinoff. Central Park Media released the original television series on home video in North America. Artist Mugita Sugimura launched a new manga adaptation in Akita Shoten's Champion RED Ichigo magazine in March.
