posted on by Egan Loo
The iaTV television network has announced that it agreed to acquire several anime titles and other programming from the anime and manga distributor Tokyopop, and it is also partnering with Tokyopop on strategic ad sales. The network will add the Initial D, Psychic Academy, and Spring and Chaos anime to its lineup. It will also add the "iManga" video shorts that were inspired by Bizenghast, Gyakushu!, Princess Ai, Riding Shotgun, and Sokora Refugees world manga titles, as well as the FMW Wrestling sports show. The two companies agreed to have iaTV's ad sales team represent the advertising sales for TOKYOPOP's digital assets, such www.TOKYOPOP.com, branding of original and user-generated video content, and mobile advertising.
Bandai Entertainment and iaTV had announced in June that the network acquired several Bandai Entertainment titles.
