New Zealand Film Fest to Screen Eva:1.0, Vexille

1st of Anno's 4 film remakes of Evangelion series, Sori's dystopian future drama
The 40th Auckland International Film Festival will screen the Japanese animated films Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone and Vexille during the July 10-27 event in New Zealand. Hideaki Anno and Khara's first film in a four-film remake of Gainax's Evangelion science-fiction series will screen on July 19, 24, and 26. Vexille, Fumihiko Sori's paramilitary drama about a future Japan in techno-political isolation, will run twice on July 11 and repeat on July 12 and 14.
