Otakon to Host The Last Unicorn Author Peter S. Beagle

Otakon has announced that it will host Peter S. Beagle, the author of The Last Unicorn fantasy novel that inspired the 1982 Japanese-animated movie of the same name, at the August 8-10 convention in Baltimore, Maryland. Beagle had previously appeared at Otakon 2007. In addition to writing dozens of novels and short story collections, he has also written the screenplays for the Ralph Bakshi's animated The Lord of the Rings film and The Last Unicorn itself. He continues to write works to this day for EigoMANGA and Conlan Press, who is sponsoring his visit.
