Kerokero Ace's Slayers Future Manga to Start in July

Story set in technological near future, but with Lina and other classic characters
A Slayers spinoff manga, tentatively called Slayers Future, will launch in Kadokawa Shoten's Kerokero Ace magazine in its September issue (on sale on July 26). Comic scenario writer Yoshijirō Muramatsu and manga creator Shin Sasaki will be developing a story with Lina and the other characters from Hajime Kanzaka and Rui Araizumi's Slayers fantasy comedy light novels. However, according to the preview in the current issue (released on June 26), the characters will be placed in a technological world in the near future, when magic is only the stuff of fairy tales. Central Park Media released several of the different manga titles based on the Slayers novels in North America.
