Anime ef - a tale of melodies Announced, Promo Posted

The television anime series ef: a tale of melodies has been announced at Saturday's Rondo Robe 2008 event in Tokyo. The website for this Fall sequel to 2007's ef: a tale of memories series has simultaneously launched with a promotional video in streaming or downloadable format. Like the first series based on the ef - a fairy tale of the two adult romance game franchise, Shin Oonuma will direct the animators at Shaft. Also returning are the supervisor Akiyuki Shinbo, series script supervisor Katsuhiko Takayama, character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama (who is adapting the designs of Naru Nanao and 2C=Galore), and music composers Eiichiro Yanagi and Tenmon.
The cast so far includes Yumiko Nakajima (Yūko Amamiya), Kouichi Toochika (Yū Himura), Mai Goto (Mizuki Hayama), Kenji Hamada (Shūichi Kuze), Shizuka Itou (Nagi Hirono), and Tohru Furusawa (Akira Amamiya).
