Anime Fan/Writer Finds Bone Marrow Donor Match

Anime fan and international animation magazine editor/writer Emru Townsend has successfully found a match for the bone marrow he needs to combat leukemia. Townsend made an appeal for people to register as bone marrow donors at the Anime North and Project A-Kon conventions last month. (Townsend often attended anime conventions as a reporter or a guest himself.) Townsend noted that there are other patients still waiting for bone marrow donors, and his family urged others to continue to register as donors.
