Japan's World Hobby Festival for Models, Toys to End

The official website of the World Hobby Festival for models and toys has announced that its last event will be held on May 5. There will be three more final events: March 30's Nagoya 08 Final and April 29's Kobe 28 Final in central Japan and May 5's Ariake 18 Final in Tokyo. Two other larger hobby conventions — Wonder Festival and JAF-CON — used to rival the Comic Market dōjinshi convention in size a decade ago. However, JAF-CON has since relabeled itself as Hobby Expo and has now been folded into the C3xHobby event.
