New Druaga Fantasy TV Anime's Promo Video Streamed
posted on by Egan Loo
The official Japanese website for The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk fantasy anime television series has added a new two-minute promotional video on Monday. (The site automatically plays last year's promotional video. To see the new video, select the "PV2[NEWS!!]" link at the bottom.) The studio Gonzo is animating this extension to Namco Bandai Games' Druaga franchise for a simultaneous television and online streaming premiere in Japan on April 4.
The anime story will interweave with the plot of The Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of Babylim online role-playing game, which Namco Bandai Games is developing for launch in Japan in late 2008. The GyaO! video website will stream episodes for free on the same night that they premiere on Japanese television. (GyaO! filters users, so that only people with Japanese Internet addresses can watch videos.)
The Druaga website also announced that Muramasa will sing the openng theme "Swinging." Voice actor/singer KENN will play the main lead Jiru and sing the ending theme "Tōchōsha-tachi" ("Tower-Climbers").
