Yūji Nagai's work appears in Shogakukan's Monthly Coro-Coro Comic magazine
The March issue (released on February 15) of Monthly Coro-Coro Comic magazine has announced that Yūji Nagai's A Penguin's Troubles (Penguin no Mondai) manga will be animated. This children's gag comedy title deals with the everyday life of a penguin named Kinoshita Beckham. Beckham happens to go to Kirikabu Elementary School with humans and crave "Mac" hamburgers and fries.
The website for Monthly Coro-Coro Comic hosts a free online excerpt of the manga. The site is also streaming a commercial for the magazine's March issue. The commercial includes animation of A Penguin's Troubles' characters, although its art style may not reflect the upcoming animation project.
