Deleter's Comic Techno Mag for Artists to End in March

High cost of materials due to rising petroleum prices cited
The manga art supplier DELETER has announced that it will cease publication of the Comic Techno magazine with its 172nd issue (on sale on March 15) in Japan. (The current 170th issue is pictured to the right.) The company cites the sharp increases in petroleum prices in recent years, and the resulting jump in material costs, for the sudden decision. Seibundo Shinkosha just published its first issue of the similar Comics Drawing magazine in December. Likewise, the Bijitsu Shuppan Design Group published the fifth issue of the Comickers Art Style periodical in November.
