Digimon group joins August finals in Nagoya, Japan
Tersa García Hernández and Ingrid Alin ava Ledezma will represent Mexico in this year's World Cosplay Summit (WCS), which is set to run in the summer in Nagoya, Japan. The two cosplayed as characters from Digimon and were chosen from among 15 finalists at last weekend's TNT GT2 convention in Mexico City.
Hernández and Ledezma will join cosplayers from six other nations, including the United States, that have won their countries' qualifying rounds. The other winning costumes so far are from Sailor Moon (Germany), Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE (Denmark and Spain), Xenosaga (Thailand), Five Star Stories (Italy), and Magic Knight Rayearth (United States). The WCS is planning for a total of 12 to 14 groups to participate in the final competition.
