D.N.Angel Manga to Return to Asuka Mag in February

The March issue (released on January 24) of Kadokawa Shoten's Asuka manga magazine has announced that Yukiru Sugisaki's D.N.Angel will make a "big return" in the next issue, which will go on sale on February 23. Asuka hinted last November that the manga would be returning, and Sugisaki herself hinted at important upcoming news earlier this month. The North American publisher Tokyopop has released all 11 volumes that Sugisaki created before she put the manga on hiatus in 2005. In the interim, Sugisaki has been drawing Lagoon Engine in Asuka magazine and its spinoff, Lagoon Engine Einsatz, in A.D. Vision's Newtype USA magazine. She began the D.N.Angel manga in 1997, and the Xebec studio adapted it into a television anime series in 2003.
