Weekly videos include Bizenghast, Rave Master, PiNMeN, FMW
The Verizon Wireless phone service and the Tokyopop manga publisher have announced at this week's Consumer Electronics Show that the Tokyopop video channel is now available on V Cast Video phones in the United States. The channel provides 15 to 20 four- to six-minute videos of "first-time manga movies, anime clips, and Asian entertainment" every week. Those videos include the Bizenghast movie (based on M. Alice LeGrow's graphic novel), the Rave Master anime series, Studio Pierrot and Geneon Entertainment's PiNMeN anime series, and the Japanese FMW live-action wrestling show. The competing Sprint Mobile service offers video clips from A.D. Vision's Anime Network in premium packages. Gong and Aniplex are among the companies that offer anime on mobile phones outside North America.
