New Shigofumi TV Anime Commercials Streamed Online

The official website for the Shigofumi television anime series has posted a new 15-second commercial and a new 30-second commercial. The commercials highlight the involvement of director Tatsuo Satō (Martian Successor Nadesico), series script supervisor Ichirō Ōkouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion), and original character designer Kouhaku Kuroboshi (Kino's Journey). The 15-second commercial also previews the "Kotodama" opening theme song from Ali Project. The series will premiere in Japan on January 5.
The anime draws inspiration from Ryo Amamiya's light novel series. Both the light novels and the anime revolve around an enigmatic messenger girl named Fumika who delivers "Shigofumi," the last letter from the dearly departed to those left behind. The anime's website has also updated its list of cast members.
