Dubai Film Festival to Screen Coo, Gentle Breeze

Coo is only anime film in this Middle East film festival
Keiichi Hara's Summer Days with Coo will be the only anime film featured at the 4th annual Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) when it screens in the United Arab Emirates' main city on December 15. The children's adventure film was recently nominatedin the best animated feature film category of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, but lost out to another anime, Makoto Shinkai's 5cm per Second.
The DIFF program also includes a screening of A Gentle Breeze in the Village, Yabuhiro Namashita's live-action adaptation of Fusako Kuramochi's shōjo manga Tennen Kokekko. The 1994 manga tells the story of six classmates in a small rural Japanese school and the new boy who comes to their village from Tokyo.
