Pachinko Manga Creator Keichirō Oki Passes Away

Oki created cover art for Pachi-Slo Panic 7 mag's first issue

The Japanese website of Byakuya-Shobo's Pachi-Slo Panic 7 magazine announced that manga creator Keichirō Oki passed away in the middle of the night on November 19. He is best known for pachinko and pachi-slo manga, or manga about the Japanese-style upright pinball machines and slot machines. Oki drew his Flag no Joe character for the cover art of Pachi-Slo Panic 7's inaugural issue (pictured right) in 2002.
