ADV's Acquisition of 2nd Kanon Series Confirmed at AWA

AnimeonDVD is reporting that ADV Films has confirmed its acquisition of the second Kanon slice-of-life television series with an 8:00 p.m. EDT showing at the Anime Weekend Atlanta convention Friday. ADV had previously posted a trailer for this series in August, only to take it offline once news of its existence spread. ADV Films also chose the cast for its Air anime releases with the possibility of a Kanon license in mind. Air is another Key franchise whose television series was animated by Kyoto Animation with cameos by Kanon characters.
