Kadokawa Launches New Manga/Toy/Game Info Mag in Japan

The publisher Kadokawa Shoten announced that it will debut a new bimonthly "super-info comic magazine" called Kerokero Ace in Japan on October 26. The magazine will include manga as well as articles on toys and games. The title is a wordplay off the absurdist comedy manga Keroro Gunsō (Sgt. Frog) and two current Kadokawa magazines: Monthly Shōnen Ace and Gundam Ace.
The magazine will serialize an official manga for Mobile Suit Gundam 00 as well as the samurai-inspired Keroro Gunsō Tokubetsu Kunren: Sengoku Ran Star Dai Battle (Sgt. Frog's Special Training: The Battle of the Sengoku Ran Star), Daikaijū Battle (Giant Monster Battle), and Momotarō Dentetsu (Momotarō Train). Kadokawa offered a free preview sample with teaser pages of the Gundam 00 manga and Sgt. Frog at the Gundam Expo exhibition in Tokyo last week.
