Gonzo to Screen Subtitled Romeo x Juliet at Anime Expo

The Japanese animation studio Gonzo (Afro Samurai, Witchblade, Last Exile) announced that it will be screening two episodes of its anime revamp of William Shakespeare's Romeo × Juliet all day on July 1 at Anime Expo 2007. The screening will take place in California's Long Beach Convention Center in Room 203A. Gonzo will also host a special fan event "currently being planned." Thanks, Gage. Update: Gonzo announced that executive producer Daisuke Gomi will have a 3:00 p.m. panel in the room, and that each showing will have a prize drawing.
