Sequel Slated for Tonari no 801-chan Otaku Love Comedy

Manga blogger Ajiko Kojima will release another volume of the Tonari no 801-chan love comedy in the beginning of August. The four-panel manga features a 28-year-old male otaku whose girlfriend is a fujoshi—otaku of boys-love stories. (The "801" name is a wordplay on "yaoi.") On September 5, Pony Canyon and Tornado Film will release a live-action DVD starring The Prince of Tennis musical's Kōji Seto as the hapless "Chibetto-san" and Sō Hirasawa as the titular girlfriend.
