Geneon to Sell The Story of Saiunkoku DVD on August 28

Geneon Entertainment's weekly mailer spreadsheet has indirectly announced the August 28 DVD release of The Story of Saiunkoku (Saiunkoku Monogatari) historical fantasy anime. The first volume retails for $29.98, or $39.98 with the series box. Tomokazu Seki, who plays the emperor and main love interest Ryuuki Shi, will appear at Otakon July 20-22. The mailer also confirms the cancellation of the limited edition for the third Fate/stay night DVD.
