Lost's Matthew Fox Vying to Play Speed Racer's Racer X

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Lost's main lead Matthew Fox is negotiating to play Racer X, who is secretly Speed Racer's long-lost brother in the live-action film. The paper also reports that Kick Gurry (Daltry Calhoun) is discussing the role of Sparky, the mechanic of the Mach 5 racing car. The movie is an adaptation of the Speed Racer television series, which itself was an adaptation of the Mach Go Go Go anime.
