posted on by Mikhail Koulikov
The English-language edition of Asahi Shimbun, one of Japan's leading newspapers, is covering the opening of the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory. The museum in the town of Hokuei in Tottori Prefecture celebrates the career of the creator of Detective Conan. Gōshō Aoyama was born in what is now Hokuei in 1963. The museum opened its doors on March 18 and is being funded in part by subsidies from the Tottori prefectural government, which is hoping that it will draw visitors to the entire region.
