X JAPAN Founder Yoshiki to Launch Jrock Revolution in Los Angeles

Former X JAPAN drummer and pianist YOSHIKI and event producer 4 Fini (Vans Warped Tour) have announced the Jrock Revolution music festival on its myspace page. The festival will take place at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles during the Memorial Day Weekend. The all-Japanese rock lineup includes Alice Nine., Vidoll, DuelJewel, Kagrra, MIYAVI, DéspairsRay, Merry, girugamesh, and MUCC.
TicketMaster/Music Today will begin ticket sales on April 21 at 10 a.m. The festival has set up a website at www.jrockrevolution.com for future updates.
The musical group alice nine. performed the "Akatsuki" opening and "Ikuoku no Chandelier" closing themes of Ginyuu Mokushiroku Meine Liebe wieder. DuelJewel, DéspairsRay, and MUCC have previously performed at North American anime conventions. YOSHIKI's former group X JAPAN performed the music in the X2 music video and the "Forever Love" theme song to the X anime movie, but he himself is not officially scheduled to perform at the festival.
