Satoshi Kon in Washington, DC on April 14

Smithsonian's Freer Gallery presents Paprika and Mamoru Oshii's "Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters" as part of the fifth annual Cherry Blossom Festival Anime Marathon
On April 14, the Freer Gallery in Washington, DC will present a screening of four anime films: Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie (at 11 a.m.), Amazing Lives of the Fast-Food Grifters (1.30 p.m.), Tokyo Godfathers (4 p.m.) and Paprika (7 p.m.). Satoshi Kon, the director of Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika will introduce both films and answer questions from the audience. Free tickets for all showings will be distributed throughout the day, starting at 10.30 a.m.
The screenings are co-sponsored by the Japan Information and Cultural Center, the DC Anime Club, and Otakorp, Inc. (the corporate parent of Otakon.)
