Castle in the Sky Reaches Sales Milestone in Japan

200 straight weeks on Top 300
Castle in the Sky recently marked its 200th straight week on the Oricon Top 300 sales charts, joining fellow Ghibli film My Neighbor Totoro as the only Japanese DVDs ever to reach the milestone:
1. My Neighbor Totoro: 242 weeks from 9-28-2001
2. Castle in the Sky: 200 weeks from 10-04-2002
3. Kiki's Delivery Service: 190 weeks from 06-08-2001
4. Spirited Away: 184 weeks from 07-19-2002
5. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind: 136 weeks from 11-19-2003
6. The Matrix Special Edition: 129 weeks from 03-10-2000
