Nodama Cantabile drama to premiere in October
The manga "Nodame Cantabile" is being adapted into a drama series that will premiere in October on Fuji TV. The cast will consist of a number of Japanese drama regulars, including Juri Ueno (previously seen in a Young Kindaichi Case Files miniseries) as Nodame, Hiroshi Tamaki (was a guest in the GTO drama series) as Chiaki, Eita as Mine and Keisuke Koide (Hyuuga in Gokusen 2) as Okuyama.
The series will air Mondays at 9pm starting October 16. It's is being produced by Jisashiki Wakamatsu, the producer of the Trainman TV series.
