I desperately wanted to make a pun somewhere about how this volume just isn’t as fleshed out as it needs to be, but its problems run deeper than that.― Do zombie apocalypse stories ever really go out of style? It's like a pendulum—usually spurred by one super-successful title, they'll go in full force for a while. Then maybe there's a brief lull when audiences start feeling sick of what's become an ...

Jerome weighs in on the hot-topic debate: Was $1,900 a fair punishment for the Rurouni Kenshin creator's collection of CSAM?― James J. asks: Dear Mr. Answerman, This may be a serious subject, but I have noticed that some American fans believe that Nobuhiro Watsuki's punishment was too lenient, and, as an American, myself, I can fully understand that sentiment, but Japan is a radically different cou...

Men of the Harem explores a female power fantasy that we don’t often see.― You know what they say – what's good for the goose is good for the gander, although in the case of Men of the Harem (from the same writing-and-adaptation team as The Remarried Empress) we ought to reverse those genders.
