Chiune Sugihara Anime in Production

Nippon Animation is producing an animated feature about Chiune Sugihara, a Japanese diplomat serving in Lithuania during World War II. The film is scheduled for release in 2008 to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Israel. Thanks, Raz.
