Market for male-oriented shoujo expected to grow
The Japanese Publisher Futabasha has established a new monthly magazine called "Comic High!" that consists entirely of a large collection of shoujo style manga aimed at boys.
According to a report in Animaxis, many individuals in the manga industry predict this new magazine will cause a growth in the popularity of this style of male-oriented "girls' comics".
Some of the titles that will be serialized in Comic High! include:
Gakuen Houtei ("School Court")
Iinchou O-te wo Douzo ("Class President, Give Me Your Hand")
Joshi Kousei - Baka Gundan ("High School Girls - Army of Idiots")
Kodomo no Jikan ("Kids' Time")
Kogyarukan
Ningen wa Tobu Koto ga Dekinai ("Humans Can't Fly")
