$1500 Otaku Dream Trip among 300 000 other Otaku.

The Japan Technical Events Consortium (JTEC), which organizes tour to various Japanese trade shows and conventions, is organizing an "all inclusive" tour Package to the Tokyo Comiket 62.

Comiket, which is short for "Comic Market" is a major Japanese convention for Doujinshi circles (Amateur Manga groups) to show off their work. Many of todays professional Manga artists and groups have "graduated" from Comiket, these include Clamp, Rumiko Takahashi and Ken'ichi Sonoda.

Many of these pros regularly return to Comiket after "graduating" as well.

Compared to the largest North American convention, Anime Expo, which boasted 13000 visitors last year, Comiket is huge with over 330 000 visitors last year. (for pictures of last year's Comiket, visit http://www.usagichan.com/Comiket60/).

JTEC is organizing an "all inclusive" tour pakage to Comiket that includes Air fare, hotel roomand tours) for approximately $1500 per person. For details visit their website at http://www.visitjtec.com/prepacktours/comiket/.
