AnimeVillage to announce new titles, Esca movie info

Bandai's US Entertainment division, AnimeVillage.com, has hinted in the past few weeks about several new announcements to be made at the Anime Expo and Otakon conventions next month. (Unfortunately, the Monkey Magic DVD's were announced at the same time, and many fans took this as being the big announcement...)
While AV officials couldn't comment on what the titles would be, there are rumors that some of the new titles may be more Gundam.
Also, AnimeVillage announced Bandai Visual (Japan)'s plans to release the Escaflowne movie in Europe, North America, and Japan at some point in 2000. The film, which will be supervised by the original creator, Shōji Kawamori, is currently thought to be a rework of the story rather than a sequel. AnimeVillage's news site also displayed a few prototype character and mecha designs, and promises more information in the future.
