Life-Sized Deku Will Make His Mark at Tower Records Exhibit
posted on by Kim Morrissy
The Shibuya Tower Records will hold an exhibit for the upcoming Boku no Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising- (My Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising-) anime film from December 20, the film's premiere date in Japan, to January 19. Besides exhibiting stand-up panels of the characters, reproductions of key animation from the first three TV anime seasons, and the series' key visuals, it will also show off a life-sized Deku figure starting from December 25.
Entry to the exhibit costs 500 yen. Visitors will receive a free card showing a randomly selected My Hero Academia character and a hero certification examination paper which will quiz you on your knowledge of the series. There will also be original goods on sale. For more information about the goods and how to purchase advance tickets, check the Tower Records website.
The life-sized Izuku Midoriya (otherwise known as Deku) figure was first unveiled by Banpresto at the Jump Victory Carnival in July to celebrate the series' 5th anniversary.
