Dunlop Tire's 3rd 'Road to You' Anime Short Features Cover Song By 15-Year-Old Virtual Singer Kafu

Dunlop Tires posted its third fully-animated commercial for its Winter Maxx 02 stud-less tires on Wednesday. The music video ad is titled "Road to You: Kioku ni Mau Konayuki" (Road to You: The Snow that Dances in Memories) and tells a tragic teen love story about two childhood friends who fall in love only to part ways when the girl leaves on exchange. 15-year-old virtual singer Kafu performs a cover of the 2005 song "Konayuki" by Remioromen.
The female role and narration is performed by Rie Takahashi (Megumin from KONOSUBA, Emilia from Re:Zero), while the male role is performed by Yūki Yonai (Nazuna Nito in Ensemble Stars!). The character designs were drawn by illustrator Asupara, and the video was directed by Toshitaka Shinoda.
Dunlop Tires previously released animated videos in 2017 and 2018.
