First animated video is a collaboration with reality TV show Terrace House

SUNTORY released an animated ad on its YouTube channel on Friday, featuring popular beverages as anime characters in their twenties. The ad is a collaboration with the latest season of the Terrace House reality TV show series, which follows the lives of three men and three women who live in the same house and get to know each each other.

The first animated video introduces five of the six characters planned to feature in SUNTORY's ad campaign.

Black represents the Craft Boss black coffee and is voiced by Takuya Eguchi.

Latte represents the Craft Boss latte and is voiced by Emiri Katō.

Nidaime no Brown (Second Brown) represents Craft Boss brown coffee and is voiced by Shin'ichirō Kamio.

Tea represents Craft Boss tea and is voiced by Kōtarō Nishiyama.

Milk Tea represent Craft Boss milk tea and is voiced by Nanami Atsugi.

The sixth character, whose design and actor have yet to be revealed, is called "Shodai Brown" (First Brown).

The ad's insert song "Kimi ni Rumuumu" (originally sung by SUNTORY's Virtual YouTuber SUNTORY Nomu) is sung in English by Yuriyan Retriever, a dancer who competed in the 14th season of America's Got Talent.

In addition, SUNTORY has launched a Twitter campaign for users to vote on their favorite beverage couple. 100 people who follow the Craft Boss Twitter account and tweet with the hashtag #クラフトボスの推しペア (The Craft Boss pair I ship) by September 8 will receive a sticker featuring their chosen pair along with their corresponding drinks. The top-voted pair will be announced on the Twitter account at a later date.
