Get a Closer Look at the Record-Breaking Kamehameha Event at San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con attendees went above and beyond the previous world record for the largest gathering of a Kamehameha attacks last week. A total of 784 people gathered to perform Goku's iconic battle move and set a new Guinness World Record and crushing the previous number of 250 people. Figure and toy retailer Bluefin released an updated video of the event on Monday.

The crowd was lead by Goku voice actor Sean Schemmel at the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego hotel.

The event was part of the larger 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure at San Diego Comic-Con. Fans of Akira Toriyama's series could demo the latest Dragon Ball video games at interactive kiosks, take photos at the Dragon Ball animated GIF photo booth, and collect stickers for the sticker rally at each attraction inside the Dragon Ball World Adventure. The stickers could be traded in for Dragon Ball wristbands, posters, lanyards, stickers, fans and Saiyan Hair Set headbands.

San Diego Comic-Con was held from July 17-21 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
