Osaka Gets Permanent Pokémon Cafe in September
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
After a few pop-ups over the years, The Pokémon Company opened the first permanent Pokémon Cafe at The Pokémon Center Tokyo DX & Pokémon Cafe in the Takashimaya Department Store Nihonbashi last year. The cafe was a huge success, bringing in 100,000 hungry trainers in six months. Fans on the western side of the country were out of luck unless they wanted to make a special day trip to Tokyo—until now.
A permanent Pokémon Cafe is scheduled to open on the ninth floor of Osaka's Daimaru Shinsaibashi department store on September 20. The Pokémon Center Osaka (DX) & Pokémon Cafe will host 1/1-scale versions of the original three Legendary Pokémon: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.
Staff will announce the cafe's menu and special events as the opening day approaches.
