Kimi-tachi wa Dō Ikiru ka (How Will You Live?) manga artist Shuichi Haga drew the character designs for an animated commercial for SUNTORY's Boss Coffee and the Hawaiians Spa Resort in Fukushima. It started airing on television in the Fukushima area on Tuesday, but SUNTORY has posted a long version of the ad on YouTube.
The ad, titled Aru Otoko no Ikikata (A Certain Man's Way of Living), marks the first time Haga has worked on an animation. It tells the life story of Yutaka Nakamura, a businessman who established the Hawaiians Spa Resort at the age of sixty-five. Eallin Japan, the studio that produced the ad, describes it as "a powerful animation PV with SUNTORY BOSS coffee and the Hawaiians to challenge people to be successful in what they want."
