Where to Watch Goku Fly Above Manhattan During Macy's Thanksgiving Parade
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
One of the biggest surprises this month is Goku's larger than life premiere during Macy's 92nd Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 56-foot tall parade float is one of the first manga characters to ever join the annual American tradition and you can watch him take to the skies from the comfort of your own home.
The parade kicks off today at 9 a.m. EST in what's expected to be a very chilly day in New York City. Lucky for you, the entire parade is available to watch live and for free from the comfort of your kotatsu. If you want to catch Goku, Pikachu, the Power Rangers before you gobble down all the turkey and yams, there are a couple of different options.
You could go the old fashioned way and tune your television to NBC. No matter your time zone, the TV station will start the show at 9 a.m. You can also stream it at NBC.com on your PC or use the NBC app assuming you have a cable provider.
If your one of the many that cut cable in favor of streaming services, there's still another option to catch the parade. Verizon 360 is hosting a live-stream of the parade over at their YouTube channel starting at 8:30 a.m. EST/5:30 a.m. PST.
Macy's Studio Artists worked directly with Toei Animation to capture Goku as authentically as possible. You can see a sneak peek of his test flights below.

Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates and here's to explaining who that giant, spiky-haired dude is to all your puzzled relatives.
