Magic Knight Rayearth Joins Gothic wa Mahō Otome Mobile Game

The Magic Knight Rayearth anime is collaborating with the Gothic wa Mahō Otome (The Magical Maiden is Gothic) smartphone otome shooting game from September 19-27. New full-voice recordings by the anime's original cast will appear in the game. Hekiru Shiina, Konami Yoshida, Hiroko Kasahara, and Megumi Ogata will reprise their roles as Hikaru Shidō, Umi Ryūzaki, Fū Hōōji, and Emeraude.
The game's event will include special illustrations with an original story and special gacha will be available. .
CLAMP's Magic Knight Rayearth is in the midst of its 25th anniversary The 1994-1995 anime adapted CLAMP's fantasy manga of the same name. The story follows Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu as they are transported to the fantasy world of Cephiro and told they must become the Legendary Magic Knights and save the kidnapped the Pillar of Cephiro, Princess Emeraude, before Cephiro collapses entirely.
Gothic wa Mahō Otome collaborated with another CLAMP property, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, earlier this year.
The then 63-year-old enka singer Sachiko Kobayashi also collaborated with the game for promotional videos and a similar in-game event in March 2017.
