Curry Meshi's New The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Campaign Launches With Music Video

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Nissin Foods' Curry Meshi instant curry rice brand opened an official website for the newest wave of its collaboration with The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls on Thursday. This time, the promotion features a high-quality music video, which is streaming in three versions.

Positive Passion idols Mio Honda, AIKO Takamori, and Akane Hino perform the new song "Spice Paradise ~Curry Meshi ver.~" with the instant curry rice brand's mascot Curry Meshi-kun. The girls sing the praises of Curry Meshi while delivering a catchy song and dance number.

SANZIGEN Animation Studio (Miss Monochrome, Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova) animated the video. Makoto Miyazaki (One Punch Man, Dragon Crisis! composer) composed, arranged, and wrote the lyrics for the song.

The promotion is offering a special limited-edition set that will bundle a CD with all eight versions of the collaboration's song. The set will come in a special box and also include six Curry Meshi cups and an exclusive clear file. The set will cost 4,298 yen (about US$39), and Nissin Foods will begin accepting orders on September 18.

Curry Meshi launched a similar campaign with The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls last August. The Idolm@ster SideM also launched its own collaboration with Curry Meshi last March.
