Girls & Panzer Voice Actress Hitomi Takeuchi Announces Marriage, Pregnancy

Voice actress Hitomi Takeuchi made two major announcements on her blog last week: she's recently married and expecting a child.
She opened her announcement with an apology to all her concerned fans before revealing that she married a non-industry person last year. She complimented her husband, stating that he is a person that understands her work and supports her with all his power.
If that wasn't news enough, she joked that her "baby is currently hungry" as a way to break the news of her pregnancy. Takeuchi again apologized for the delay in both announcements, but revealed that her health has not been stable for a long time and so she was anxious about sharing the news. However, she added that her baby is growing steadily.
Takeuchi made the announcements on April 27, which is also her birthday. She plans to continue to grow stronger and pursue her career. She is likely best known to anime fans for her role as Rabbit Team's Azusa Sawa in the Girls und Panzer anime franchise. She has also voiced roles in the Uchi no Hime-sama ga Ichiban Kawaii, BLAZING ODYSSEY, and Kanpa ni Girls mobile games.
